11th IFAC/MIM 2025 Conference: Strengthening Manufacturing Resilience through MaaS

The MAASive project continues to advance toward more resilient and adaptive production systems. Our team is making significant progress in developing simulation-based costing approaches to support the Manufacturing as a Service (MaaS) model. A major milestone is that our recent findings have been accepted for publication at the MIM 2025 conference, marking a strong recognition from the international research community.

MAASive at HumanTech Day 2: advancing relient manufacturing

 

On January 23rd, 2025, Politecnico di Milano is hosting HumanTech Day 2, a major event that brings together 170 researchers for a series of seminars and workshops.

HumanTech – Humans and Technology – is a research initiative funded by Italy’s Ministry of University and Research (MUR), with the objective of redefining traditional models of technological development by integrating human, social, and environmental dimensions alongside economic factors.

MAASive Models for Resilient Value Networks through Manufacturing as a Service.

 

A new methodology, mapping risks and capabilities for resilient supply chains, is going to be presented at Hamburg International Conference of Logistics (HICL).

As part of the MAASive project, which aims at developing models of resilient value networks to allow the assessment of impacts of unforeseen events and to servitize existing manufacturing assets, a new methodology has been developed.

MAASive visits Turkey: Exploring Resilience and Manufacturing as a Service at Arçelik Türkiye.

​

The MAASive project will have the incredible opportunity to tour the Beko headquarters, a key brand of Arçelik A.Åž. From exploring their state-of-the-art Innovation Hub to witnessing their production process this will be an inspiring experience. Partners will visit Arçelik A.Åž.'s warehouse and labs, and will have the chance to experience and learn about their advanced technology and automation.

From September 3rd to 5th, KOÇ University ANAMED Center in Istanbul is hosting an important consortium meeting of the MAASive project. The event is bringing together all the partners involved in the project, providing a valuable opportunity to strengthen mutual understanding and collaboration, share results, and discuss further steps.

This is a three-day event during which participants are discussing challenges and future opportunities, sharing ideas, solutions, and common goals.

MAASive Research on Resilience in Production Systems Presented at SAGIP

 

As part of the European project MAASive, Centrale Nantes has the pleasure of presenting the project work, performed on resilience in production systems, at the Association SAGIP. 

With this presentation, the MAASive project reaffirms its commitment to promoting innovative solutions that can strengthen the resilience of European production systems.

MAASive at the Spring Servitization Conference 2024.

This week, Antonio Masi, researcher at Centrale Nantes, is going to attend the Spring Servitization Conference 2024. 21 papers will be presented in this occasion and discussions will be moderated on seven research posters.
