MAASive Consortium Meeting, Nantes

From 23 to 25 February 2026, the MAASive consortium gathered at Centrale Nantes for a three-day project meeting, bringing together project partners to review progress and coordinate the next steps as the project moves toward its final phase.

The meeting provided an important opportunity for partners to exchange updates on ongoing activities, discuss recent technical developments, and align on the upcoming milestones leading to the completion of the project.

One of the key highlights was the live demonstration of the latest functionalities of the MAASive platform. Industrial partners had the opportunity to explore recent updates and improvements, illustrating how the platform supports service discovery, matchmaking, and orchestration across distributed manufacturing networks. These demonstrations also highlighted the role of digital tools in enabling more informed decision-making and coordination within Manufacturing-as-a-Service (MaaS) ecosystems.

The programme also included a panel discussion on resilience in manufacturing, during which partners exchanged insights on current industrial practices and emerging approaches to strengthening supply chain resilience. The discussion explored how the MaaS paradigm can contribute to more flexible and responsive production networks, enabling companies to adapt more effectively to disruptions.

In addition, consortium members discussed the next steps for the project’s final phase, focusing on the consolidation of key results and the development of exploitation strategies. These discussions aimed to ensure that the outcomes of MAASive can generate lasting impact and support the broader adoption of MaaS concepts in European manufacturing.

The Nantes meeting successfully strengthened collaboration among partners and provided a clear direction for the remaining project activities, reinforcing MAASive’s objective of enabling more resilient, flexible, and distributed manufacturing ecosystems in Europe.
