MAASive Models for Resilient Value Networks through Manufacturing as a Service.
A new methodology, mapping risks and capabilities for resilient supply chains, is going to be presented at Hamburg International Conference of Logistics (HICL).
As part of the MAASive project, which aims at developing models of resilient value networks to allow the assessment of impacts of unforeseen events and to servitize existing manufacturing assets, a new methodology has been developed. The research is conducted in collaboration with colleague Chema Abdennadher from Institut für Logistik und Unternehmensführung (LogU) der TUHH, and partners from Politecnico di Milano, Professor Margherita Pero and Franco Chiriacò. MAASive EU project is presenting the research titled "Assessing Supply Chain Resilience: A Methodological Approach to Mapping Risks and Capabilities" in the latest edition of the HICL.
In this presentation, it is introduced and tested a new methodology designed to help companies assess their resilience by mapping potential risks to the required capabilities. This approach enables organizations to better focus on developing and enhancing the critical capabilities needed to respond effectively to the disruptions they face.
