MAASive at XXXI AIDI “Francesco Turco” Summer School – Digital Platforms for Supply Chain Resilience
At the XXXI AIDI “Francesco Turco” Summer School in Lecco, Italy, Franco Chiriacò presented research conducted within MAASive during the Poster Gallery and Networking sessions.
The study, “Building Resilient Supply Chains in the Digital Era: The Role of Digital Platforms”, co-authored by Franco Chiriacò, Margherita Pero, and Alice Roda, explores how digital platforms can strengthen supply chain resilience while ensuring their own operational resilience.
The findings suggest that digital platforms can help shift supply chain resilience from reactive responses towards proactive, data-driven anticipation and rapid reconfiguration. However, their effectiveness also depends on the robustness and resilience of the platforms themselves.
The event provided an opportunity to exchange insights with researchers working on digitalisation, supply chain resilience, and digital platforms.
