MAASive Use Cases

The MAASive project brings together two leading industrial demonstrators—Kamstrup A/S and Arçelik A.Åž.—along with selected suppliers, to validate and implement Manufacturing-as-a-Service (MaaS) technologies in real-world industrial manufacturing scenarios. These technologies are tailored to the specific needs of each value network, with the two use cases addressing different yet complementary aspects of manufacturing ecosystems and resilience of value networks to disruptions and dynamic market conditions.

The Shared Impact: Strengthening Manufacturing Ecosystems

Both the Kamstrup and Arçelik use cases demonstrate the powerful potential of MAASive technologies in real-world industrial contexts. By focusing on different levels of the value chain, both use cases contribute to the development of an integrated toolkit that enhances agility and strengthens resilience across manufacturing ecosystems.

The MAASive project’s approach is a significant step forward in demonstrating how Manufacturing-as-a-Service can enable manufacturers to enhance their operational capabilities, streamline model-based production, and maintain production continuity even during external disruptions.
