This week, Antonio Masi, a researcher at Centrale Nantes, is going to attend the Spring Servitization Conference 2024 (SSC2024), organized by The Advanced Services Group, Tilburg University, MindLabs, and World Class Maintenance. 21 paper will be presented in this occasion and discussions will be moderated on seven research posters.

 

He is also going to present the paper “Manufacturing-as-a-Service and Servitization: an Ambiguous Relationship” co-authored with Gianluca Tedaldi and Margherita Pero, professor at Politecnico di Milano (partner in the MAASive project), which examines the extent to which the introduction of Manufacturing-as-a-Service (MaaS) can be regarded as a form of servitization. The MAASive team has introduced him to this promising manufacturing paradigm, for which he expresses his sincere gratitude.

 

This event represents a valuable opportunity to engage with leading experts in the field, fostering knowledge exchange and advancing research on the evolving role of servitization in manufacturing. In particular, discussions will focus on how servitization and Manufacturing-as-a-Service contribute to enhancing the resilience and adaptability of value networks through innovative service-based solutions.
